Statement:

" whether it is my 3-dimensional or my 2-dimensional works, connection and separation are always present, as well as a mixture of sense and sensibility. In these recent paintings the theme " connect- hold on- separate- dissolve" has elaborated further. The vague colours are necessary to get to the diffuse depth, a form of purging. I draw pleasure from simplicity and solitude, leaving the fragile ideas underneath."
