ICAW Harlech Biennale IX 2009

Harlech International Artists Residency
and Exhibition 2009

Fourteen artists from Europe and the UK plus four artists based locally in North Wales together with Artists/Project Managers John Brown and Wanda Zyborska met in Harlech over the weekend of 26 and 27 September. The artists had been briefed, the Neaudd Goffa Harlech was to be the studio base with larger and messier construction work to be done at Hendre Ddyfrgi.

Monday 28 Sep - artists began work. A big part of the ninth ICAW Harlech Biennale was to connect with our networked colleagues in Europe via Internet using Skype giving viewers in Harlech a REAL-TIME experience in meeting artists and Project Directors in CCAM Napoli, Dolores Project, Paris, meet artist Tomasz Matuszak in Poland, and Galichnik Art Colony Project Director Ana Frangovska in Skopje, Macedonia
